2009: Suited up in all 18 games during his second season as a Tiger-Cat…regularly entered the game in short-yardage situations, carrying the ball 26 times for 49 yards and four touchdowns…completed three of six pass attempts for 47 yards and one touchdown.

2008: Played in three games in his rookie season with the Ticats after joining the team on September 9…completed 20 of 39 pass attempts for 268 yards, three touchdowns and one interception…suited up in his first CFL game on October 19 in Saskatchewan…threw his first career pass, an 11-yard completion to Chris Bauman, on October 24 against Calgary…threw his first career touchdown, a nine-yard completion to Prechae Rodriguez, on October 24 against Calgary…spent five weeks on the development roster…signed with the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts on April 29…was waived by the Colts on July 25.

Played four seasons (2004-07) at San Jose State…completed 603 of 1027 pass attempts for 7,548 yards and 52 touchdowns…also carried the ball 197 times for 983 rushing yards and nine touchdowns.

Born on August 30, 1983 in Daly City, California…lettered in football, basketball and track and field at Mills High School in Millbrae, California…his father, Gregg Tafralis, was ranked among the top-10 shot putters in the world by Track & Field News for seven years…ran a 4.78 in the 40-yard dash at the 2008 NFL combine, the fourth-quickest time by a quarterback.
