The NY Jets were crazy letting this Wayne Chrebet type receiver go. This kid is a play maker. Great hands, tough as nails and can get the job done.

I hope David recovers from his injury (whatever it is) and gets to play. Remember, he is a player who has always exceeded expectations and "evaluations." No one paid any attention to him as a football until he walked on the field and started playing. Then he sets a national record. Looking forward to becoming a Hamilton CFL fan when he starts playing.

I photographed David Ball in college, 2 games against UMass. He is the best receiver that I have ever seen, and that includes college and pro games that I have photographed. The NFL made a huge, huge mistake by not giving him a FULL opportunity to play. They aren't as smart as you think they are. They play it safe and go with big name colleges and in MANY instances overlook excellent talent, or stumble upon it. This is the case with David Ball.

Give this guy a shot and he won't disappoint. Amazing athlete who doesn't need gloves to make highlight reel catches, but he's an amazing person as well. Good luck David, we hope the best for you!

Watching David Ball and Ricky Santos in New Hampshire was one of the highlights of being a UNH fan since I was 5. great to see both guys in the CFL If they get great playing time ill be grabbing my passport someday to see them battle it out. Would still love to see Ball in a Pats uniform however

I am sure David will come back next year as most CFL rookies do. So if he is healthy, you should see quite a show.
I like the CFL rules and think that this provides more excitement than the NFL.
Go Eskies!!!!
