The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that the football club has signed American defensive end Tyshun Render.
Render, 27, arrives in Hamilton having previously suited up with the NFL’s Miami Dolphins, the USFL’s New Jersey Generals and the UFL’s Memphis Showboats.
Before turning pro, the 6-4, 245-pound native of Newnan, Georgia played four seasons at Middle Tennessee State (2016-19) where he registered 119 tackles (71 solo), 6.5 quarterback sacks, 19.5 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles and one interception. In 2016, he earned a spot on the Conference USA All-Freshman team.
