Bob Dyce was named the Special Teams Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach for the Tiger-Cats on January 12, 2025.

Dyce joins the Tiger-Cats after spending the previous four seasons with the Ottawa Redblacks, including three as the club’s head coach. A native of Winnipeg, Man., Dyce brings more than two decades of Canadian football coaching experience to Hamilton. 

The 60-year-old began his CFL coaching career with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, serving as receivers coach from 2003 to 2009. He then spent five seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in a variety of roles, including passing game coordinator and receivers coach (2010–11), offensive coordinator (2012), special teams coordinator (2013–15) and interim head coach during the 2015 season. Dyce was a member of the Roughriders’ coaching staff that captured the 101st Grey Cup in 2013. 

Dyce later joined the Ottawa Redblacks as special teams coordinator in 2016, contributing to the club’s 104th Grey Cup championship that season. He was named the third head coach in franchise history in 2022, a position he held through the 2025 season. 

His coaching career began at the junior level, serving as an assistant coach with the St. Vital Mustangs of the CJHL and later as offensive coordinator and receivers coach with the Winnipeg Hawkeyes. Dyce also spent time in U SPORTS as receivers coach with the Manitoba Bisons.
