The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are committed to providing a fun, safe, and fan-focused game-day experience for all events at the stadium. We are dedicated to fostering a respectful stadium environment that upholds the rights of all fans, game-day staff, referees, and the opposing team’s players and fans.

Fans are encouraged to cheer loudly and proudly while being courteous and respectful to those around them. Any behaviour that interferes with others’ enjoyment of the event will not be tolerated.

Fan Code of Conduct

We take pride in having the most passionate and welcoming fans in the CFL. Our image is a reflection not only of our players, coaches, and employees but also of our fans. Our goal is to create an electric, family-friendly atmosphere to support our team. To ensure a positive game-day experience for all, fans must act responsibly and with consideration for others. Unruly behaviour may result in ejection from the stadium and, in some cases, loss of ticket privileges. Prohibited behaviours include but are not limited to:

  • Unruly, disruptive, or illegal behaviour
  • Actions that endanger others
  • Interfering with the game or entering the field of play
  • Throwing objects in the stadium or on the field
  • Using abusive or vulgar language or profanity
  • Displaying inconsiderate behaviour towards others
  • Disorderly conduct or harassment of other fans or players
  • Underage drinking or intoxication
  • Selling tickets or merchandise on stadium property
  • Obstructing the view of others
  • Smoking or vaping in non-designated areas
  • Failure to follow instructions from stadium personnel
  • Possession of prohibited items
  • Wearing obscene or indecent clothing
  • Harassment of opposing team fans or players

Fans who violate the Fan Code of Conduct may be subject to ejection, arrest, or the loss of ticket privileges. Stadium management reserves the right to determine whether behaviour is inappropriate and take necessary action.

Reporting Fan Misconduct

To report disruptive behaviour, contact the nearest usher, stadium security, or member of the Hamilton Police Service. During the game, fans can report issues anonymously by texting 289-777-HELP (4357).

Patron Screening

To ensure safety, bag and person searches are conducted at stadium events. Security wands and bag searches are standard procedures. Management reserves the right to deny entry to anyone with prohibited items or suspicious belongings.

Prohibited Items

  • Outside food (except single-serving snacks)
  • Outside beverages, alcohol, illegal drugs, or weapons
  • Coolers, flasks, ice chests, or picnic baskets
  • Laser pointers, Frisbees, balls, or poles of any kind
  • Musical instruments, air horns, megaphones, or boom boxes
  • Obscene or indecent signs, banners, or clothing
  • Cameras with lenses larger than 6”

Acceptable Items

  • Single-serving snacks
  • Small bags that fit under a seat
  • Empty bottles (1 litre or smaller)
  • Factory-sealed water bottles (1 litre or smaller)
  • Baby strollers that fold and fit under a seat
  • Collapsible umbrellas less than 18” in length

Smoking Policy

Smoking is only permitted in designated areas outside the stadium. Smoking devices, including e-cigarettes, may only be used in these areas.

Recording and Transmission Policy

Fans are prohibited from using electronic devices to record or transmit any aspect of the game for betting or commercial purposes unless authorized by the CFL. Unauthorized recordings may result in removal from the stadium.

Re-Entry Policy

There is no re-entry after kickoff. Ensure you bring all permitted items with you when entering the stadium.
