
Brendan Walsh was named Offensive Line Coach for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on March 18, 2025.
Walsh is entering his first season in the CFL after spending nine seasons coaching in the NCAA. He started his coaching career with Division III Susquehanna University as Assistant Football Coach from 2015-16 where he was responsible for the tight ends and fullbacks positions. Walsh moved onto Division III Misericordia University for the 2016, 2017 seasons as the Offensive Line, Strength and Conditioning Coach, where he also assisted with the coordination of the run game and tight end play. In 2018, Walsh moved to Division I Colgate University to be the Raiders’ Assistant Football Coach before moving to Quarterbacks Coach in 2019. He was shifted to oversee the Offensive Line in 2021, which is where he remained until 2025. During his time with the Raiders, Walsh has produced one Academic All-League selection, four All-Patriot League honorees, a Patriot League Rookie of the Year, and a conference Offensive Player of the Year.
The Waldwick, New Jersey native completed his bachelor’s in history from Colgate University where he also played as a standout offensive lineman for the Raiders during his sophomore and junior seasons before being sidelined by injury. He worked as a Student Assistant for the team in 2014 following his injury.
