Calvin McCarty
Running Backs Coach
Calvin McCarty was named Running Backs Coach for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on March 19, 2024.
Before making the jump to a professional football coaching position, McCarty spent time as a player with the Edmonton Eskimos (2007-2021) and Calgary Stampeders (2021). The Muskogee, Oklahoma native played the majority of his career as a fullback, often helping out at tailback and tight end as well. The 5-10, 215-pound fullback received the Canadian player of the month award (July 2009), was a 3x Canadian player of the week, and became a Grey Cup champion in 2015.
