Claire Toffelmire
Head Athletic Therapist – Maternity Leave
Claire Toffelmire was named Head Athletic Therapist for the Hamilton Tiger‑Cats in December 2017 and has maintained this position ever since.
Toffelmire joined the Ticats as a Student Athletic Therapist from 2014 to 2016 before becoming Assistant Athletic Therapist and Coordinator of Medical Administration from 2016 to 2017, prior to her current role.
Before the Ticats, the British Columbia native was Assistant Trainer for UBC’s Men’s Varsity Football from 2009 to 2012, Head Trainer for UBC’s Women’s Varsity Hockey from 2009 to 2012, Head Trainer for the U18 BC Hockey Team from 2011 to 2012, Pre-Stage Team Trainer for the Women’s Olympic Soccer Team in 2012, Head Trainer for the Hamilton Red Wings Jr. A Hockey Team from 2012 to 2013, and Student Athletic Therapist at St. Michael’s College School from 2013 to 2014.
She earned a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Applied Health Science in Athletic Therapy from Sheridan College.
