
Marcellus Bowman was named Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Hamilton Tiger‑Cats in January 2023 and continues in that role.
Before joining the Tiger‑Cats, Bowman served as Assistant Director of Football Performance at the University of Central Florida from 2019 to 2020 and spent two seasons (2017–18) as the Strength and Conditioning Coach at Auburn University.
The Youngstown, Ohio native enjoyed a five-season professional football career in the CFL, appearing in 57 games with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (2010–12) and the Hamilton Tiger‑Cats (2013–14). He recorded 216 total tackles, nine sacks, two interceptions, and two fumble recoveries. Prior to that, he had a stint with the Denver Broncos in 2010.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Communications from Boston College.
