The Tiger-Cats High School Mentorship Program powered by Stelco runs during the high school football season, from September through October. During the program, one Ticats player will visit each participating high school football team during two practices and one game. The Ticats player assists the coaches with drills while providing leadership and character development to the student athletes.
Nominating A Student-Athlete
To qualify, student athletes must meet all eligibility requirements:
- Must be a student in their final year of high school and participate in the Tiger-Cats High School Mentorship program
- Attending post-secondary education the following year
- The financial award will be given once confirmation of acceptance to a post-secondary institution is provided
Nominations can be submitted by coaches during the High School Mentorship Program and winners will be recognized at the Ticats Night of Champions dinner at Tim Hortons Field.
Bursary applications must be submitted by October 3, 2024. Coaches from participating schools can submit bursary applications using the links below.
