CAREER

2020-2025: Blue Bombers
Kolankowski developed into a cornerstone for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers offensive line since joining the club in 2020. After the cancelled 2020 CFL season delayed his debut, he broke into Winnipeg’s lineup in 2021, appearing in two regular season games and earning a spot on the roster for the club’s 108th Grey Cup victory.

Kolankowski took on a much larger role in 2022, dressing for 17 regular season games and making 15 starts at centre while filling in for an injured Michael Couture. He also started in both the Western Final and 109th Grey Cup, proving he could handle a full-time role.

He officially became Winnipeg’s starting centre in 2023 following Couture’s departure in free agency and started all 18 regular season games, plus the Western Final and 110th Grey Cup. Anchoring one of the CFL’s top offensive lines, he helped the Blue Bombers lead the league in scoring while protecting Zach Collaros as he led the league in passing.

Kolankowski followed that up with another outstanding season in 2024, again starting all 18 regular season games, the Western Final, and the 111th Grey Cup. Emerging as a vocal leader up front, he played a major role in helping Brady Oliveira rush for over 1,000 yards for a third straight season and capture his second consecutive rushing title, while Collaros set a career high in passing yards.

2016-2018: Argonauts
Kolankowski was selected by the Toronto Argonauts in the sixth round, 49th overall, of the 2016 CFL Draft. He attended Argos training camp that year but returned to York University for his final year of eligibility.
He made his CFL debut in 2017, dressing for six regular-season games and both playoff games — including the Argos victory in the 105th Grey Cup. He then played in 16 games in 2018 but was released in training camp last season.
The Bombers signed Kolankowski on February 6, 2020.

COLLEGE

2012-2016: York
Kolankowski spent five years at York University winning the Mike Benevides Lineman of the Year Award in 2015 and the Tom Arnott Award for Hard Work and Character in 2013.
