COLLEGE

2024-2025: Texas Tech & Michigan State
Played in 21 career FBS games (nine at Texas Tech in 2024; 12 at MSU in 2025) with three starts. He posted 28 career tackles and received an extra year of eligibility in 2025 via an NCAA blanket waiver for all student-athletes who previously competed at a non-NCAA school for one or more years and would have otherwise exhausted their NCAA eligibility following the 2024 season. Cromwell transferred to Michigan State from Texas Tech in the summer of 2025.

2020-2023: Guelph
During his collegiate career at University of Guelph Gryphons, he established himself as one of the top defensive backs in U Sports. Following a standout season in which he earned Second-Team Ontario University Athletics All-Star honours while recording 26 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, one interception, five pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery, he was named a First-Team U Sports All-Canadian in 2022. He had previously earned Second-Team U Sports All-Canadian recognition in 2021 after leading the conference with seven pass breakups, showcasing his consistent playmaking ability in the secondary.
