Released by Edmonton Elks May 5…Signed with Toronto Argonauts May 26. Played 18 games, started 3. Completed 97 of 142 passes (68.3%) with 4 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. Carried the ball 9 times for 29 yards with 1 touchdown.

2023-2024: Elks
Doege spent two seasons with the Edmonton Elks, appearing in 20 games from 2023 to 2024. After signing with the club on April 3, 2023, he made his CFL debut on June 25 against Toronto, completing his first career touchdown pass—a two-yard strike to Vincent Forbes-Mombleau—in the same game. Over his time with Edmonton, Doege completed 43 of 68 pass attempts (63.2%) for 593 yards, throwing four touchdowns and four interceptions, while adding 23 rushing yards on eight carries. In 2024, he appeared in four games, completing one of three passes for six yards and adding a five-yard rush.
