CAREER

2024-2025: Elks
After being traded to the Edmonton Elks in 2024, Kurleigh Gittens Jr. became a key piece of Edmonton’s offence. In his first season with the Elks, he recorded 85 receptions for 847 yards and 5 touchdowns, earning West Division All-Star honours while setting career highs in catches.

He followed that up with another productive campaign in 2025, posting 72 receptions for 706 yards and 4 touchdowns. Across two seasons in Edmonton, Gittens Jr. totaled 157 catches for 1,553 yards and 9 touchdowns while continuing to establish himself as one of the CFL’s top Canadian receivers.

2019-2023: Argonauts
Selected in the third round of the 2019 CFL Draft and emerged as one of the league’s top Canadian receivers during his five seasons with the club. After a limited rookie season and the cancelled 2020 campaign, he broke out in 2021 with 50 receptions for 605 yards and four touchdowns, earning East Division All-Star honours.

He followed that with a career-best 81 catches for 1,101 yards and five touchdowns in 2022, earning East Division All-Star, CFL All-Star, and Most Outstanding Canadian nominee recognition while helping Toronto win the 109th Grey Cup. In 2023, he recorded 35 receptions for 416 yards and one touchdown in 10 games before being traded to the Edmonton Elks in 2024.

COLLEGE

2015-2018: Wilfrid Laurier
After beginning his career as a quarterback, he transitioned to receiver and quickly became a dynamic offensive weapon. Over four seasons, he totaled 132 receptions for 2,167 yards and 18 touchdowns while also contributing as a returner and rusher.
