2024: Samson was the Blue Bombers fourth choice, 20th overall, in the 2024 CFL Draft. He officially signed with the club on May 5, 2024 … Samson spent the entire regular season on the practice roster but was activated for the biggest game of all, dressing for the 111th Grey Cup loss to the Toronto Argonauts.

College: Samson dressed for 25 career games over his four years with the Thunderbirds, recording 6.5 sacks and 48.5 total tackles, also adding an interception. He was named a two-time U SPORTS Second-Team all-Canadian (2023, 2022), a two-time Canada West all-star (2023, 2022), and won the 2023 Hardy Cup and Mitchell Bowl.
