CAREER

2024-2025: UFL Birmingham Stallions
Rountree joined the UFL’s Birmingham Stallions in 2024 and helped the club capture a UFL championship during his first season. Across two years with Birmingham, he appeared in eight regular-season games, rushing for 174 yards and four touchdowns while adding six receptions for 23 yards.

2021-2023: NFL’s LA Chargers & Houston Texans
Rountree entered the NFL as a sixth-round selection of the NFL’s Los Angeles Chargers in the 2021 NFL Draft following a record-setting career at the University of Missouri. He appeared in 16 NFL games over two seasons with the Chargers, rushing for 106 yards and one touchdown while also contributing on special teams. After his time in Los Angeles, he spent time with the NFL’s Houston Texans organization before continuing his professional career in the UFL and later signing with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats

COLLEGE

2017-2020: Missouri
Rountree enjoyed a highly productive four-year career with the Missouri Tigers, establishing himself as one of the most accomplished running backs in program history. Appearing in 47 games from 2017 to 2020, he rushed for 3,720 yards and 40 touchdowns, ranking among Missouri’s all-time leaders in both categories. His best season came in 2020 when he earned First-Team All-SEC honours after rushing for 972 yards and 14 touchdowns in 10 games. A durable and physical runner, Rountree finished his collegiate career with three seasons of at least 700 rushing yards and helped anchor the Tigers’ offence throughout his tenure in the SEC.
