After the 2020 season was cancelled due to COVID-19, Ford returned in 2021 and captured the Hec Crighton Trophy as the nation’s top player after leading the OUA in passing yards and ranking among Canada’s top rushing quarterbacks. He finished his university career as one of Waterloo’s most accomplished players before declaring for the CFL.
