Dance Coach

Meet Meagan, Head Coach of the Ticats Dance & Cheer team.

Meagan Reid grew up in Norfolk County. From an early age, you could find her in the outdoors or at a dance studio. In 1999, she joined the Tiger-Cats Cheerleaders as a dancer. This memorable Grey Cup championship year is what sparked her passion and love for the CFL.

After six seasons of dancing for the Tiger-Cats, Meagan completed her Master’s of Clinical Science in Audiology at the University of Western Ontario. She then moved out West to Calgary to work as an Audiologist. Wanting to be a part of a team and community again, she joined the Calgary Stampeders Outriders for nine seasons and spent the last seven of those years as the Dance Coach.

A decade later, Meagan decided to move back east and be closer to her family. Now in her 21st CFL season, she is thrilled to be back in TigerTown, leading the Ticats Dance & Cheer Team for a sixth season!
