Tiger-cats Fans Donate Over 190,000 Pounds Of Food For Purolator Tackle Hunger® 2018

Fans of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats helped make the Labour Day Classic another successful Ticats game day on and off the field. As part of the 2018 Purolator Tackle Hunger® program, the Tiger-Cats teamed up with Purolator to raise funds and awareness for Hamilton Food Share and the Tiger-Cats fan generously donated over 190,000 pounds of food.
This is the 16th season of the Purolator Tackle Hunger Program. Since its inception in 2003, it has helped deliver the equivalent of more than 12 million pounds of food to food shares across Canada. The 190,000 pounds raised in Hamilton on Labour Day for Hamilton Food Share was a season high among CFL teams.
Every month, Hamilton Food Share serves over 12,580 people, more than a third of which are children.
