Tiger-cats Sign Two International Players

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced Tuesday the football club has signed two international players, including offensive lineman Avery Young and defensive back Kevin Richardson (pictured).
Young, 26, spent the past two seasons (2017-18) in the National Football League with the Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Seattle Seahawks. The 6-6, 307-pound native of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida attended Auburn University for four seasons (2012-15) where he earned Third Team All-SEC honours in 2015. The versatile offensive lineman played 38 games, starting 36, at both guard and tackle for the Tigers.
Richardson, 24, played in 48 games over five seasons (2014-18) at the University of Arkansas. The 5-11, 180-pound native of Jacksonville, Arkansas registered 125 tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss, four interceptions and eight pass breakups while returning one fumble 22 yards for a touchdown with the Razorbacks.
The Tiger-Cats also announced the following two players have been released:

INT – WR – Frank Stephens
